Power Video Downloader is a Windows desktop application that helps users process media links and save permitted content from supported websites. The application and this website are designed to collect as little personal information as reasonably possible.

In short: this website has no advertising trackers or user accounts. The application performs its main download work on your device and communicates directly with the source services you choose.

Website information

This public website does not require an account and does not use advertising cookies or analytics scripts in its current version.

Cloudflare may automatically process limited technical information such as an IP address, browser type, requested pages, timestamps and security events to deliver the website, prevent abuse and maintain reliability.

Application information

The application processes the links you provide to retrieve available media information and complete the download you request.

• Downloaded files are saved to the folder you choose.
• Temporary processing files may be created locally and removed when no longer required.
• Settings, queue information and recent activity may be stored locally to make the application work.
• We do not intentionally receive a copy of your downloaded media or download history.

Browser access

For certain supported services, Power Video Downloader may open Chrome or Edge to complete verification or access content requiring an active browser session. Information processed in that browser remains subject to the browser provider’s and source website’s privacy policies.

If you use authentication cookies for a supported website, they are used only to access content you are authorized to access. Never send passwords or cookie files to our support team.

Contact requests

When you contact us, we receive information you voluntarily submit, such as your name, e-mail address, country and message. We use it to answer your request and investigate technical problems.

The contact form is processed through Google Forms and responses may be stored in Google Sheets. Information is kept only as long as reasonably necessary to handle the request, maintain service records or meet legal obligations.

External services

The application or website may interact with Microsoft Store, Cloudflare, Google Forms, Google Sheets and the source websites chosen by the user. Each service has its own policies and terms.

Power Video Downloader is independent and is not affiliated with YouTube, Google or other supported platforms.

You may choose not to submit a support request. Depending on your location, you may also request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information submitted to support.
